TRANSFORAMINAL POSTERIOR LUMBAR INTERBODY CAGE SYSTEM
Kentro TLIF is intended to retain lumbar intervertebral disc space and helps to fuse the adjacent vertebral bodies together at vertebral levels (L1-S1). It then successively removes the pressure on spinal cord/or nerves, restabilize the spine. And it also helps to restrict the movement and consequently prevent further damage of nerve roots.
Kentro TLIF allows the surgeon to place the cage & bone graft in the disc space from a unilateral approach thereby limiting the damage to nerve roots. It is designed for a transforaminal approach.
Key Highlights
Implant / TLIF Cage
Self-Distraction Nose – Which allows the implant with ease of insertion and placement into the end plate.
Axial Window – Accommodates autogenous bone graft or bone graft substitute to allow fusion to occur through cage.
Pyramidal teeth – Provides resistance to implant migration
Rails on the surfaces – Guide & turn the cage into desired position
Applicator – Which allows controlled and guided insertion based on pivoting mechanism.
Security Button – Security button on applicator prevents the implant from disengagement during surgical procedure.
Titanium Alloy cage – For better fracture resistance and for its biocompatibility feature
One Key Instrument for insertion of implant
Sturdy Applicator – Sturdy applicator with Indicators.
Simple Instrumentation – It helps in easy placement of implants in the cervical spine.
Design – It is designed in such a way that it can be used for minimally invasive surgeries.
NOTE Kentro TLIF cage is intended to be used with Kentro PSS / Kentro D-gen (Supplemental posterior fixation)
